Siga Vasaitis is a manager, for physician and health systems engagement in the Improving Health Outcomes area at the American Medical Association. She has more than 10 years experience in healthcare administration and operations, including more than five years in the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting. Siga focuses on developing, coordinating, and implementing collaborations with health care organizations and clinical practices. This work includes establishing referral processes and strategies to guide clinical teams in referring patients to services beyond direct medical care. In her current role, she leads the development of a strategy addressing lifestyle changes to prevent multiple cardiovascular disease risk factors such as diabetes, hypertension, and obesity.
