Dr. Samantha A. Carreon is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Professor at Texas Children’s Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine, focusing on the psychological care of children, adolescents, and young adults with chronic health conditions. She specializes in working with those living with diabetes and other endocrine conditions. Dr. Carreon is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and mental well-being of her patients through evidence-based, individualized, and family-centered approaches. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Carreon conducts research in the Resilience and Diabetes (RAD) Behavioral Research Lab, focusing on the psychosocial impacts of diabetes, supporting resilience, promoting health equity, and improving sleep.
