Associate Professor of Medicine, University of Maryland School of Medicine

Dr. Rozalina McCoy is Associate Professor of Medicine and the Associate Division Chief for Clinical Research in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Nutrition at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She also serves as the Director of the Precision Medicine and Population Health Program in the University of Maryland Institute for Health Computing, where she leads interdisciplinary research efforts focused on improving the health and wellbeing of the people of Maryland and beyond. Dr. McCoy ‘s research program, funded by the NIH and PCORI, leverages real-world data to improve the quality, equity, and accessibility of diabetes care on both the individual and population levels. She is an active member of the American Diabetes Association, where she currently serves as Chair of the Diabetes in Primary Care Interest Group, member of the Primary Care Advisory Group, and member of the Professional Practice Committee.
