Dr. Rozalina McCoy MD, MS (Speaker)
Associate Professor of Medicine; Director of Precision Medicine and Population Health, University of Maryland School of Medicine
Dr. Rozalina McCoy is Associate Professor and Associate Division Chief for Clinical Research in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Nutrition in the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She also serves as the Director of Precision Medicine and Population Health in the University of Maryland Institute for Health Computing, where she leads an interdisciplinary Center for Population Health spanning the Universities of Maryland Baltimore and College Park. Dr. McCoy’s research program, funded by the NIH, PCORI, and the American Diabetes Association leverages real-world data to improve the quality, accessibility, and sustainability of diabetes care on both the individual and population level. She is also an active member of the American Diabetes Association, where she just completed her two-year term as co-chair of the Professional Practice Committee, serves on the Science & Health Care Executive Council, and has held multiple other roles focused on supporting diabetes care delivery in primary care settings.
