Osagie Ebekozien MD, MPH, CPHQ (ADA Co-Chair & Speaker)

Dr. Ebekozien MD, MPH, CPHQ is the Chief Quality Officer for American Diabetes Association. In this role he leads ADA efforts to transform diabetes and obesity quality outcomes and improving access to evidence-based practice. He most recently served as the Chief Medical Officer for T1D Exchange, Boston. In that role, he led diabetes clinical affairs, quality, equity and population health improvement. Prior to his time at T1D Exchange, he has held roles in primary care transformation, obesity, and type 2 diabetes management in several capacities. He is a recipient of several awards including the 2024 James Reed NMA Outstanding Physician, 2022 Eli Lilly Leonard (Diabetes Research), the 2021 ISPAD International Pediatric Diabetes Innovation, and the 2019 NACCHO Model Practice awards amongst others. He has co-authored over 100 manuscripts and is a frequent speaker at professional conferences.
