Marsha Schofield MS, RD, LD, FAND | Speaker

Marsha Schofield, MS, RD, LD, FAND is a nationally recognized expert in health care delivery, payment, and telehealth policy with a focus on the unique value proposition of nutrition services provided by registered dietitian nutritionists. Her career has spanned the full continuum of health care settings as both a direct care provider and manager of programs for children and adults. In her most recent position as Senior Director, Governance and Nutrition Services Coverage at the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, she led efforts to position members for success in changing health care delivery and payment models through member education and advocacy with public and private payers. Now, as Owner and President of Marsha Schofield & Associates LLC, she continues to apply her expertise, strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills to help health care professionals leverage all potential revenue streams in their efforts to provide high-quality, evidence-based, patient centered care. Marsha has developed over 36 publications and 88 invited presentations for professional and public audiences. She is known for her ability to translate complex topics and concepts into easy-to-understand language and practical implementation steps. Marsha received her M.S. in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware. Coordinated Undergraduate Program in Dietetics. Among her many honors, she is a recipient of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ 2023 Medallion Award for her active participation, leadership and devotion to serving others in nutrition and dietetics, as well as allied health fields.
