Eric A Orzeck M.D. received his M. D. degree from the University of Virginia, and then spent his residency at the University of Iowa. He returned to the University of Virginia for his first Endocrine Fellowship, and his second was at the institution now known as the M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. He has served on the Board of the then Certified Diabetes Educator program and has maintained his certification. An author of more than 100 articles involving diabetes, he also has been part of writing numerous education guidelines for the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology. Board certified, he has been in the private practice of Endocrinology since his fellowships.
