Ellie S. Strock is an adult nurse practitioner and consultant in digital therapeutics with over 30 years’ experience in diabetes care, education, and research. Most recently Ellie was Vice President, Medical Affairs, Voluntis, developing software medical devices for diabetes and oncology. Previously, Ms. Strock was with the International Diabetes Center, Minneapolis for over 25 years holding numerous positions including Education Director for the WHO Collaborating Center for Diabetes Education, Translation and Technology. In 2010, Ellie was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. In 2011, she was named Visiting Professor, Nanjing Medical University, Nanjing, China. In 2019, she was the recipient of the National Cancer Institute Directors Award of Merit for development of the first oncology digital health technology platform for risk-based patient management. As co-author of Staged Diabetes Management (SDM), she assisted in implementation of SDM in over 400 sites throughout the United States and 40 countries worldwide. Ms. Strock’s research interests include a focus on use of continuous glucose monitoring and ongoing development of the ambulatory glucose profile (AGP). She has authored over 30 articles on diabetes in peer-reviewed journals and has made numerous presentations on diabetes at national and international conferences.
