Dr. Catherine Price is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine, Section on Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. She earned her medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine and completed her Internal Medicine residency, chief residency, and Endocrinology fellowship at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC. Her clinical and research interests center on the use of diabetes technology—including continuous glucose monitors and insulin pumps—to optimize care for individuals living with diabetes. Dr. Price currently serves as the Medical Director for Inpatient Glycemic Management at Atrium Health Wake Forest Medical Center and previously held the role of Medical Director for the Diabetes and Endocrinology Center. She is actively involved in medical education, teaching students, residents, and endocrinology fellows. In addition to her clinical and academic roles, Dr. Price is currently serving as an Advisor for the American Diabetes Association’s Diabetes in Primary Care Interest Group, contributing to national efforts to improve diabetes care delivery in primary care settings.
